PAG-ALALA - pag-álalá [noun] to remember in Tagalog

An embodied practice of remembering.

Pag-Alala means to remember in Tagalog, a Filipino language.

But the remembering at the heart of this work is not about recalling the past.

It is the kind of remembering that happens when something within you becomes recognizable again.

A knowing in the body.
A relationship with yourself that has gone quiet.

The way the Earth changes before a calendar tells us the season has turned.

The part of you that still knows how to listen.

Pag-Alala is an embodied practice of returning to those relationships and allowing them to become part of how you actually live.

WHAT IS PAG-ALALA?

Lush green terraced rice paddies in a valley with a river flowing through, surrounded by mountains and forest, with a small village at the bottom.

Relationship with Source is at the center of this practice.

The Higher Self is the bridge to Source.

Through that connection, we deepen our relationship with the body, intuition, pleasure, Mother Gaia, and the rhythms that shape our lives.

WAYS TO EXPERIENCE PAG-ALALA

Pag-Alala is shaped by cycles—the Moon, the seasons, the body, the rhythms of Mother Gaia and the wider cosmos.

Time is art

Rather than relating to time only through schedules, productivity, and the calendar, this practice invites us to notice rhythm, synchronicity, emergence, rest, and return.

There are other ways of knowing where we are in time.

A DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIP WITH TIME

I am Cat, founder of Pag-Alala and creator of Ka-Activated Breathworkâ„¢.

My work lives where embodied practice, breath, sound, Higher Self connection, cyclical time, pleasure, and relationship with Mother Gaia meet.

I do not believe remembrance belongs to one teacher.
My role is to create conditions where you can listen more deeply to what is already yours.
